When it comes to Christmas adverts, H&M usually sits in the quickly-forgotten pile.
But this year, they’ve got Wes Anderson on it. His short film speaks to all of those who have had their trip home for Christmas ruined by ‘bloody trains’.
It’s everything you could want from the award-winning director – retro interiors, instantly recognisable camera angles and cool garms (H&M supplied, obviously).
Oh, and Adrien Brody as a conductor who puts on a heart-warming Christmas brunch for his passengers when snow means they’ll be delayed for 11 hours. Hint: it’s better than the sweet sod all you get from National Rail.
Brody said: “This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug.”
