Fall begins a little later in Los Angeles than it does in most places (if at all), but even though it’s barely August, I’m already excited for my favorite season. Since the nights are starting to get chillier, I’ve started to break out some of my favorite transitional pieces once the sun goes down, like this buttery shift dress. It’s short and sleeveless, so it still works in the summer heat, even with its faux suede fabric, which reminds me of the color of falling leaves. It was the perfect thing to wear to a friend’s backyard dinner party last week, and I’m already looking forward to my next evening event just so I can wear it again.
